Position Overview The successful candidate will be a key leader in the maintenance and reliability management team and will be responsible for leading a team of five reliability engineers to drive the improvement of plant reliability and championing the defect elimination efforts. He or She will apply knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies. The candidate will be directly involved in the continued implementation and leadership of a progressive and integrated Reliability Centered Maintenance and Equipment Reliability Improvement process in a large multiple product processing facility. The candidate should have the potential to develop into the next maintenance and reliability team leader at the site and will be developed for that role. Principal Accountabilities: * Leading a 5 person reliability engineering team to eliminate defects * Is a member of the facility maintenance & reliability team and develops and implements strategies to identify, prioritize, and implement proactive maintenance and asset reliability improvement processes and projects. * Lead development of the reliability engineering team as well as assist with develop of the remaining maintenance and reliability team members. * Is involved in the facility maintenance budget process and is responsible for using maintenance and reliability principles to improve the facility costs and productivity. * Uses leadership and expertise in the principles of Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create an environment of continuous asset reliability improvement. Will be the Champion of the RCM and RCA process. * Is responsible for working with site employees and contractors to ensure a safe work environment with a basis in BBS (behavioral based safety) principles.
